Lisa started working in film and television while completing her undergraduate studies at the University of British Columbia. Starting as a junior analyst, her approach to figuring out how things work has never left her from those early days of reading scripts and putting together financing for thousands of projects.  Flash forward almost 30 years, and the desire to learn, build and grow has never left her.

A media professional experienced in creative development, funding, production, broadcast, digital, business development, marketing and content distribution, Lisa has played a leadership role over her many years working in media in Canada.

Formerly Director of Knowledge Kids, part of British Columbia’s Knowledge Network, and the Director of BBC Kids, a national specialty channel, Lisa was responsible for marketing, programming, brand, affiliate relations and overall channel operations of BBC Kids and charged with growing the Knowledge Kids IP and brand through strategy, marketing and new digital properties.

Lisa was an Executive with CBC Television in both a creative and business capacity.  Lisa also worked on the highly praised Cultural Olympiad, the public arts & culture component to the 2010 Olympic Games, overseeing five major digital projects for a ground-breaking program delivered to global audiences.

Lisa founded Notio Media in 2017 to pursue producing in a digital space and to continue to work with people whose projects need an experienced eye and a partner they can trust.
